John McKinsey lives and practices law in northern California. He has taught Business Law at the School of Management at California State University, Sacramento and Energy Law at King Hall School of Law at University of California, Davis. A long time student and practitioner of organizational theory and personal management, The Organized Attorney is the culmination of a decade of thought and work at solving the educational gap for many private practice lawyers. John McKinsey is also the co-author of Understanding the Law, a general education textbook on American law, and of The Lincoln Secret, a novel.
