Look Around

By: Darrin May

Sports agent Matisse Spencer has never had a problem attracting women, but going the distance with them has been a different story. Self-absorbed and unconcerned with commitment, Matisse goes through a succession of women until his best friend, Miles, hits town for his upcoming wedding. Something about his friend’s happiness makes Matisse realize that he needs to change his ways. It seems like serendipity when a lost love suddenly returns to town, and Matisse’s world begins to hold new promise – until the reunion with his former flame takes a shocking turn and he finds himself protecting his top client, NHL player Lincoln Dix, from a murder rap, a media onslaught and an Atlanta district attorney who is out for blood. In the midst of it all, Matisse realizes that things – and people – aren’t always as they appear.
