This is Mrs. Barloggi’s first full book. She is also the illustrator of Setting Limits in the Classroom, 3rd Edition: A Complete Guide to Effective Classroom Management with a School-wide Discipline Plan by Robert J. MacKenzie, Ed. D., and Lisa Stanzione, M. A. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art. She is currently an elementary school teacher in California where she resides with her husband, son and many large and small pets, including a “cat with a bushy, white-tipped tail, named JACK!

Vacaville Event Celebrates Children's Book Week

 

Local author Corie Barloggi gives Mili Prakash,4, and Arya Prakash, 8, a copy of her children's book "In Jack's Mind" during the National Children's Book Week Kick-Off Celebration on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the Nut Tree in Vacaville.

 

The event put on by the Solano County Library Association and Martin Pearl Publishing helped raise fund for reading programs and to support the Vacaville Police K-9 program.
